Yantai /May 28th, 2018/ Six cementing trucks independently developed by Jereh were officially delivered to Uzbekistan, a member of SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization). Amounting to 4.7 million USD dollars in total, the units will support the rapid development of local oil & gas industry.
As a global group, Jereh has been strengthening the cooperation with SCO members for years, as a response to China’s Belt and Road initiative. Uzbekistan had 594 million barrels of proven crude oil reserves in 2016, according to Oil & Gas Journal. In 2015, total petroleum and other liquids production was 78,900 barrels per day. As presented in the Uzbekistan government’s development plan during 2014-2030, the raising energy efficiency with modern innovative technologies and modernization and development of the industrial infrastructure are needed to assure its sustainable economic development.
