During the Spring Festival holiday of 2012 (On the second day of Chinese New Year), Jereh received a service request from a client in the United States. An after-sale service team of three set out without any delay and flew all the way to the other side of the world for this mission. They turned out discovering that the equipment had been disassembled into numerous spare parts since the client attempted to fix it on their own, which somehow added extra difficulty to the repairing task. Considering that the client was about to take a qualification test by the Shell Company only four days later, our team threw themselves into high-intensive work instantly. They worked overtime even until midnight for several days in a row and thus impressed the client with their professional dedication. The client had set aside distrust and was touched by our team’s professionalism (at early stages, the client even assigned a supervisor to urge Jereh). They even initiated to make tea for Jereh engineers.
In the end, the client won the contract with Shell and obtained subsequent opportunities for further cooperation. Later on, they sent a commendatory letter to Jereh, in which they spoke highly of our engineers and described them “as intelligent as NASA engineers who sent human beings to Moon”. Liu, one of the three engineers, received a special gift—a security helmet with customized pattern “LIU NUMBER 1”on it.
