Yantai/8th November, 2018/ a nitrogen generator unit independently developed by Jereh Group successfully accomplished its first purging in Qinghai Oilfield. Accompanied by a truck-mounted booster, it is the nitrogen generator unit with the highest discharge rate within China, marking that Jereh has once again broke the record in oil & gas equipment field.

During the process of oil & gas field production, nitrogen generation equipment is widely applied when it comes to gas lifting for flow inducing, N2 foam sand flushing, N2 foam plug removal, N2 foam acidizing, N2 foam flooding, N2 foam profile control for steam well, nitrogen displacement and purging.
Normally, nitrogen generator unit draws on N2 from the air directly by compressing air and separating O2 and N2 through membrane, which can realize high-concentrated extraction and purification of N2.
However, in plateau provinces that are with thinner air such as Qinghai, Gansu and Xinjiang, it would take much more time for conventional nitrogen generator unit to conduct operation, lowering working efficiency drastically.
Client from Qinghai Oilfield said, “We have around 2,000 wells working in high altitude areas now, as the whole industry is recovering. That is to say, our demand to raise efficiency and enhance productivity is quite urgent.” Catering to client’s needs, Jereh R&D engineers respond rapidly to customize nitrogen equipment for plateau working environment at an average elevation of 3,000 meters.

By handling key parts in a particular way, Jereh managed to greatly decrease the influence of air thinness on nitrogen production. Max discharge rate of Jereh nitrogen generator unit is able to reach 1,500 m3/h, producing N2 with 95% purity that can fully meet local operation demand. Compared with conventional ones, Jereh’s nitrogen equipment can save 20% work time and significantly raise efficiency.
Overturning the tradition, Jereh also adopted the third generation JNGS fully-automatic monitoring system which allows one personnel to operate on two equipment simultaneously. It helps client to reduce operation cost by increasing automaticity.
Jereh never stops accumulating practical experience and developing innovated solutions for nitrogen generation. That’s why its nitrogen equipment has been successfully applied on numerous onshore and offshore platforms.
Mr. Zhang Hongnai, Jereh’s Vice President said, “Only by figuring out the pain points of the industry and focusing on customers’ needs, can Jereh take the lead with intelligent and automated products and resolve the problems and challenges our customers face. Meanwhile, we strive to raise efficiency and enhance productivity to secure energy supply as well as oil & gas development of the country.”
