Xi’an/December5-6, 2020/the 7th Jereh Cup Energy Equipment Innovative Design Competition for China Postgraduate was held in Xi’an Shiyou University.

Vice President of Jereh Simon Xie was present at the event and delivered the opening address. He said, “Jereh, with its sense of responsibility, has sponsored the competition for 7 years in a row. The idea of nourishing more talents in R&D field is in line with Jereh’s philosophy. We are wishing to motivate more young scholars to get involved and improve their abilities of practice and innovation, which will benefit the industry and themselves too.

This year, the competition mainly convers marine energy equipment, renewable energy equipment, clean oil and gas energy equipment, combustible ice development and so forth, attracting 4560 students from 117 universities in China, including renowned ones like Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University.

In the meanwhile, Jereh and Xi’an Shiyou University signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Both parties will take a step further in the collaboration of R&D, talent training, innovation and entrepreneurship. 

Jereh always pays close attention to the fostering of young professionals and is willing to provide the industry with more talents.

The competition is a great opportunity to inspire the passion of innovative R&D and practice. It will derive Jereh to keep investing in the field and promote the sustainable, coordinative and healthy development of the industry with advanced technology.
