Yantai/October 14th, 2019/The world's first dual-mixing super power cementing unit successfully passed the mixing test and got customer acceptance. Independently developed by Jereh, it features large displacement and high power, with the max. slurry mixing capacity of beyond 3.0 m³/min, setting a new world record for single-tank cementing unit.
The equipment breaks the limits of current mixing capacity and dramatically lowers cost for clients, which is believed to be another transcendent leap for Jereh and the industry after the launch of Jereh Super Power Cementing Unit last year.
The world's first dual-mixing super power cementing unit developed by Jereh
It was 2 years ago when Jereh engineers spot a serious problem of cementing operation during an on-site investigation. As China's development of shale gas intensifies, there has been more operations on super-deep wells and complicated formations than ever, especially in Sichuan, Chongqing and Xinjiang. High pressure, large displacement and long working hours without downtime are constantly challenging oil & gas companies.
It is commonly seen single pump cementing unit, twin pump cementing unit or quintuplex pumper fail to satisfy current operation just by one unit. It even takes 6 units to run simultaneously for a large-displacement operation, demanding rather high money & manpower input.
After two years of R&D, what we have now is the brand-new dual-mixing cementing unit, which is based on previous Super Power Cementing Unit, but with a dual-mixing system. The new equipment is able to break current capacity limits and greatly enhance slurry mixing ability. It is equipped with Jereh-developed AMS 4.1 automatic mixing system, having a max. slurry mixing capacity beyond 3.0m³/min.
Besides, Jereh also employs intelligent automatic computing control and distant control technologies to better complete the equipment, demonstrating the company’s leading innovation strength in the field of high-end oil & gas equipment.
During the slurry mixing simulation test, its displacement rate peaks at 3.0m³/min when the density reached 1.83g/cm³, creating a world record for dual mixing performance of single-tank cementing unit.
Lead Engineer of the project, Wang said, “We have applied for the patent of the equipment. We are proud to present such a trend-setting equipment to our client. Jereh is going to keep focusing on the challenges in front of customers, providing them with high-end products and services to realize the safe & effective utilization of global energy.”
